and the changes they have been through in their lives, and as a band, show in the diversity of each of their 8 EP's. Their newest EP with the
songs; 190 beats per minute, song 4, and playing dead, was just released in July. More recently Twine has come under the sponsorship of Jagermeister and have opened up for an array of popular
bands such as Type-O-negative, Gwar, Drowning Pool, Skinny Puppy, and
last month, at The Birch Hill, Adema, but they are more into the audience than the bands and usually spend time after the show mingling with their fans.

Twine - August 2002

When I asked about some of the acts they had opened for, Twine said that Drowning Pool were the coolest, and nicest of all the bands they
have played with because they treated them as equals. Twine expects to be signed soon, if they don't explode or kill each other. With the changes that I've seen since their last Ep, I can't
wait to see how they will break the rules on their next one even more. To check out some of Twine's music or to contact them, check out their web page at http://twinenet.tripod.com , better yet, if you
want to see them in person, they plays regular gig's every other Thursday at The Beachcomber in Seaside

cheer her on. After listening to Karen's songs and the stories they told, I decide to put myself on the Eystone's mailing list, and made a note to
check out the full band, the next time they play along the NJCoast.
What can I say about Rachel ? Currently an Asbury Music Awards nominee for Top Female Solo Performer, she was already a
well respected musician along the shore for years before NJCoast hit the web in 1998. She's opened for a number of nation acts Continued on page 11
