All ages Stone Pony Show

The Stone Pony along with other venues along the NJCoast will be hosting a number of all ages matinee shows this winter.

Early this month I wandered down to see who the next wave of audiences were listing to. The afternoon led off with Strike 4 ( www.Strike4.cjb.net ), a 4 piece Sayreville based band, formed in early 2000. The band features a

female drummer, and a guitarist who has no hesitation leaving the stage and wandering into the audience as he plays.
Next up was Distant Sunday (www.DistantSunday.cjb.net ). One of the newer bands in today's lineup, this Bricktown-based group formed in early 2001 is comprised of Chris on lead guitar, Jeremy on bass guitar, Sean - Yelling and Screaming (See their web site) and Dale percussionist extraordinaire. The group made its debut as part of the Bricktown Porch Tours concert series. Seven Performances by Seven Bands on Seven Porches. See them at the Saint on Sunday December 8, 2001.
