Councilman John Hamilton was the only council member to question the proposal and said he had great misgivings about possibly giving the developer permission to take properties before final plans were accepted. The resolution was voted upon and all member including John Hamilton who agreed "under direst" to join the other members and voted yes on the issue.  I was bothered that there were no handouts with the printed text of the proposal to read.

Another item of interest to the Musical Community along the NJ Coast was an objection to the renewal of The Fast Lanes liquor license. The agenda sheet did not list the reason and the item was tabled until the January 2nd meeting.

I guess will be back at the council meeting on January 2, 2001.
