What's Up This Month on the New Jersey Coast

Volume 2, Number 2, page 4

Armadillo's Crossing (continued from page 3)
instead of the Roasted Garlic with Feta Cheese. The Roasted Garlic is fabulous but unless you plan on popping altoids all night, Tuna bites are a much better bet. Besides, you'll gain thousands of boyfriend/girlfriend points for feeding your cutie a couple of these delectable morsels.

As for a main course, their are so many wonderful choices. I always suggest to my dinner partner that they try the Wrangler Bow-Tie Pasta, it's one of my favorites and I love to share. This dish is a collection of shrimp, mushroom, baby spinach and ham doused in a cajun cream sauce. Another sharing favorite is the array of Fajitas. With the option for chicken, shrimp or vegitarian, everyone is happy. They are, of course a little messy but their is nothing cuter than a man with guacamole on his chin (or sexier than your girl kissing it off for you!). If your in the mood for something a little different, give the Jerk Chicken a go! With hints of nutmeg, clove, cinnamon and soy in the marinade, Jerk Chicken is the spice for the evening.

As for dessert, if you have room, key lime pie is my pick. Yum! Snickers pie and Reese's pie are also on the menu. All entrees range from $11.95 to $17.95 and desserts are around four dollars. Armadillo Crossing has a bring your own bottle policy and is conveniently located next to two liquor stores.

Tribute to

One of America's true treasures is getting a historical makeover.  Paul Robeson: HisStory, a program dedicated to the legendary singer, actor, and political activist whose roots are in Westfield, New Jersey, will take place at the Park Overlook Theater, 508 Cookman Avenue on February 15 at 7pm.

Dave's Dogma:

I just want to extend a "Thank You" to all the contributors and some of the new voices of this month's issue including Leslie Stickler and Joe Canzano. Their enthusiasm in supporting the local music scene is not condoned in the slightest. Anyone out there who has something newsworthy is encouraged to contact one of us via email. Keep up the good vibe!.
