DOGS OF WAR (continued from page 1)
Another pleasure was Crash Course, featuring the legendary closet guitar teacher John Gray (not the author of Women Are From Mars, Men are from Venus), who delivered a rather racy but tasteful musical Christmas greeting thanks to a very pretty lead singer.

Exemplary performances also were given by Jack Stock, The Commons, The Dilletantes, and the enigmatic Keith Beck.

The final act was German import Schnitzel. I really cannot tell you what happened from here.  You'll just have to take my word for it that they were pretty entertaining. Unfortunately, they were unavailable for an interview, as they had another gig the following day at a belated Oktoberfest in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Plus, they were pretty upset that Wayne ran out of pretzels. Enough said.

Anyway the benefit was a success, raising some $1,000 for cancer research, making Mike Grau a happy camper.  Anyone interested in finding more information on the American Cancer Society, should visit their web-site or call1-800-ACS-2345.
