had an image, great stage presence, media praise, national airplay, concert tours, and a video on the then-new MTV, so it's not a debut. It's something new.
The band has a new release and a re-release on Renaissance Records/Ryko Disc, consisting of the group's original album re-mastered & digitally mastered onto CD, with Eight Brand New Songs!. The 80's LP was laced w/racy themes, including repression, betrayal, the Catholic Church, sex, arson and battering boyfriends. Steamy subjects at the time, and unheard of from an all-girl pop band. On the new album these songs are all re-animated w/stronger fidelity, including the band's ear-popping apocalyptic epic, "God made You for Me', a 9 minute modern masterpiece which got the girls 'Banned" by The Archdiocese of Providence, Rhode Island, deep in the heart of 'Witch Country' to boot! Also on the new CD you'll find 'Boys Can Cry' [their MTV video"}, "Private School" and 'Someone New'; .

antics] J.T.: [to Kbob] I'm leaving this [recorder] on just in case we say anything witty throughout the course of the evening. Probably not going to happen but you never know... KBOB: There he is,
there's the man!... J.T.: Hey Billy... B.H.: I know your name, it's Janey, right? J.T.: Very good. KBOB: Want to say something witty? continued on page 10
