which we gladly did with 'For the Kids', an original tune, and 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys.  Our performance that day placed us in the final round, scheduled for June 16th.

We arrived that day, psyched and ready to go. The day was really shaping up to be something special, as the bands that kicked off the day, Ill Tempered and Higher Threshold, were really rocking and had lots of good energy.

The show was being recorded for a future CD release, of which each band was to have two tracks, and the CD release party was planned for July. The bar was filling up, and everyone was having a great time. Then, during Othersidenine's set, Dan took the stage and ordered everyone into the streets, as the police decided to shut everything down on the suspicion of underage drinking in the club. There wasn't any, but that didn't stop the police from ordering everyone out of the club, and then threatening the crowd with arrest unless everyone evacuated immediately.

In the wake of all of this chaos, the show had to be cancelled for the day, and rescheduled for July 21st, another Saturday afternoon. The lineup for that day is Ill Tempered, Higher Threshold, Othersidenine, Shumi, Osiris Rising, The Sideways, Against the Grain, and Sun.  Many precautions will be taken that day to make sure the same experience does not happen again, as the show is now 18+ only, and the number of people loitering outside of the bar is to be severely limited. The live album is still being prepared, as well as t-shirts commemorating the whole history of the show, including June 16th's debacle.
