style attack, the girls are currently back in the studio working on yet another follow-up CD, which, according to the band's official PR Fount, "The Bishop", is aiming towards a Summer 2001 release. The Catholic Girls are: Gail Petersen, Writer/Lead vocal/s/rhythm guitar {Founding Member}, Roxy Andersen, lead guitar/backing vocals {Founding Member}, Kyd Ellsworth, bass guitar & Percussion {Original Touring Member} and drummer Jen Bond, who as the Catholic Girls' "perfect percussive soul'" was found through placing a few ads in local Jersey papers, where the band was once formed and now regenerated! And Bear in mind, in the years since their album's original release, many things that the band started have become De Rigeur and just the rage for today's X Generation, like crucifix jewelry, jet black schoolgirl outfits, the little girl look, angst-ridden music in minor keys, strong female singer-songwriters, patent leather shoes and Britney Spears plaid skirts.
