Joe's Dribble from page 21
notebook in hand. For me it was a great night of music. In addition to Anderson Council I was able to get fresh shots of "MR G" ( note G Fest is August 4th) a stalwart of the music scene
along the NJ Coast, "Osiris Rising" a finalist in the Battle of the Bands at Hooligans and a new band on my radar screen "Dry Water" (Does anyone know how to contact Dry Water, I lost
my sheet on them). All the bands received copies of the picturers we shot plus our performers index was freshened up with new photos and info. More important, if they play the neighborhood again, I'll
probably show up. Repeat customers are the best customers you can have.
Hats off to the Anderson Council for being daring, creative, even adventurous in their quest to lure people to their
performance. If all the bands along the cost were this inventive, a lot more people would be exposed to the Original Music scene along the NJ Coast.
Do you have a great marketing gimmick? Some
way to attract new people to your performances? NJCoast would like to hear about it. E-Mail your ideas to joe_cullity@excite.com
