from the dining room come back to the bar for the music.

I've performed here about fifteen times now, and have experienced extremes. From nights of empty bar stools and unenthusiastic crowds to a nights of a dozen or more people up and dancing and singing me songs. And it was. At least eight of the twelve joined me at the microphone all in a big circle, arm in arm around the microphone swaying back and forth. I can't say that was my best musical performance of that song, but it was by far the most memorable.

On other nights I have seen strong evidence that the mailing list efforts pay off. Repeat costumers have told me they came out that night because they new I was there. (continued on page 7)
