 Eat to the Beat

five more TVs around the bar.
5. And finally, the food....wouldn't that be ridiculous if I wrote an Eat to the Beat and didn't talk about the eat. Let me begin with bar treats. The Mad Hatter has great pizza. A small (about 12" in diameter) is only six beans. They have some pretty decent appetizers, too. Their fried ravioli(12 for 5.25) are great. Now, good bar food at a bar is hardly anything out of the ordinary. It's their dinners that caught me off guard. I have never tasted penne with vodka sauce($9.95) to match it. Umm...if only I hadn't been so famished I might have had leftovers. They also have a pretty decent wine list. Ecco Domani, Luna di luna, you know the drill.
The drink specials include $1 drafts everyday and $2 Miller bottles on Fridays. Overall the Mad Hatter is a great place to visit, even if you live along the NJ Coast
