SHOREWORLD

rockin' dog new tricks:, but more on that a bit later on. Featuring former Whiteout axist Siggy Schock {also 'formerly of' groundbreaking early 80's Shore alterna-groups like Stiff Pigeon & Holy Trinity}JACK is: Siggy on guitar, Ernie Wilkens, bass, Vinnie Shakespeare, vocals & keyboard and Roger Bikeboy on drums.

This Toms River-based band plays a refreshing mesh of Pop, Funk and Ska tinged with a little jazz timing and edge;Their self-titled CD was produced by Jack at The Jam Room, and first cut 'Knockin down you r door' puts an electric edge out front with a racing to gliding Soul-pop edge, a little Mick Hucknall, a little Specials a lot of Pop Funk to dance to with a cool 'doodoouuhhh' vocal chorus.

Eventually, he developed with guitar as his main instrument, but also indulged himself with percussion, keyboards, and singing a bit, too.   Not to be limited creatively, Mac writes music, lyrics and poetry, all of which are subject to occasional live performances. Performing duties might also include the primarily self-taught Mac working as a sideman as well as a solo artist.

Exposure to different musical atmospheres throughout his formative years may have been a contributing factor to Mac's wonderful takes on music.  He was born in Manhattan, moved to Red Bank, NJ in 1970, and did a stint in Indiana starting around 1979.  His mom was actually a DJ for several years and
