John Padovano - to perform at Java Hut and Cornerstone
Veteran shore performer John Padovano of Fair Haven maintains his busy performance schedule, with several concerts this month to two venues he's also veteran to: Belmar's
Java Hut and Freehold's Cornerstone Caffe.
The two eateries are among the more than 37 stages Padovano and his bandmates graced in his career, which is growing strong.
In his
performances, Padovana is joined by local talent and friends such as Diane Doolittle on sax and flute, John?Paul Padovano on percussion and Billy Hays on bass. John takes command of vocals, guitar and the blues harp
AKA harmonica for performances
"Relax and have a cup of coffee for a few minutes,'' Padovano said, describing the atmosphere of his upcoming performances.
He's played both venues
before: ""The Java Hut is a great little place for music,'' the performer said.
Padovano performs there 9 to 11 p.m. Saturday Dec. 1.
At the Cornerstone Caffe, performances are 9 p.m. to midnight Nov. 23 and Dec. 21.
He will be playing songs from his five albums, including his latest release, ''The Dusty Road Session.'' The
album will soon be replaced by Padovano's next release, he said.
''The Dusty Road Session'' remains an intimate album where Padovano's voice and acoustic guitar resonate as the only components to the
album's music. Despite the simplicity, Padovano shows depth, and his live performances in the coming months should be no exception.
