Early next morning
(as we had planed the night before) our crew was heading back to NY for a hotel in SoHo we used for an assembly point. From the balcony of our meeting room we could see the police lines already encircling the area. Around 10:30 we got the go ahead and went back into what everyone was now called - The War Zone -. Seemed like cameras were not very welcome in the area, and the lens had finally locked up, so I switched to a couple of $14.00 throw away specials, and even then I kept them out of use most of the time except for sparse few shots of the Winter Garden I took off a balcony by the river and some skyline pictures shot from the back of a police launch as we headed uptown that night.
We put a slide show together of what happened. It's about a 3 meg executable that will only run on a PC. The show includes over 100 images shot during or shortly after
the WTC event. Hopefully now that we own the tool, we can also use it to produce happier slide shows and screen savers of events along the NJCoast.
