Chris Dargis premieres his new CD, "The Fine Art of Forget Me Not," Friday September 7, at 9:00PM.

And WAGGING IT with THE BOSS!?!…

A few of you may've heard this, but those pop-happy kids The Wag met up with Bruce Springsteen at the Clearwater festival on Saturday, Aug 18th.  He surprised everyone and played a 30 minute set of music and invited some performers to get up and do a song with him:. Da Broose also stuck around to hear the Wag's set and thought they were good.  The old Virgo/Libra even offered the band some fatherly advice, I.E., To be persistent and to keep plugging away at it.  So check out where the Wag will be next; maybe this'll be like the old Cats routine at the Pony, who knows? www.thewagband.com

And That Luv Dog's gonna Howl again:

Although they'd publicly announced after a 6 year run that they were disbanding, and had even played an official farewell gig, the Toms River based Mojo Love Dog just informed Shore World that they are sticking together: The Love Dogs have hunkered down to write some new songs and retrench things, and plan to play out again when they feel the time is right..This Best Hard Rock Band of the Asbury Music Awards brings great news, as their Chili peppers meets Faith no More sound was adored and boogied to by many, as it appears this dog's gonna rock again, after all…Look to early November for the tail… (continued on page 10)
