ABOUT CHRIS BARRY           
Chris Barry has covered The Jersey Shore Music Scene for 25 years in publications like The Aquarian Weekly, The Atlanticville, Pipeline Magazine, East Coast Rocker, Off The Wall Magazine, By The Sea Magazine, Red Bank Register, Red Bank Voice, Relix, Rock! Magazine, Good Times, 2 River Times, Shorelines, MBCBS XPress, Wall Herald, Hot Spots/Swirl Magazine(Music Editor), Nitelife Magazine, Eclectic, Asbury Park Press, McLoughlin's and The Coaster of Asbury Park.

He has also done publicity work for Indy & Major record labels like Elektra-Asylum, Gig Records and media personalities like Dave Wyndorf, Matt Pinfield & Ed and Lorraine Warren, Demonologists/'Ghostbusters'..

In addition, Mr. Barry operates the Independent Promotion Company World Beyond Network, representing a variety of Jersey/Shore-based artists and talent at various clubs and venues. Since he formed the company in 1986, Chris Barry has worked with artists like David Peel, GG Allin and Alan Mann, as well as former NY Dolls Punk/Guitar legend Johnny Thunders and singer/songwriters Francesca Beghe', Virginia, Elyse Sondra Lane and Michael Ferentino…

Barry has also worked as booking agent/PR for acts like The Antoinettes, Rogue,The Mad Daddys, Leather Studded Diaphragm, Nude Swirl, They Might be Vaginas, The Wallbangers, Whirling Dervishes, etc., and was the first promoter to actively bring alternative/punk and new music on the edge to flagship rock club The Stone Pony on a weekly basis. He has also worked as house booking agent for The Pony, The Fast Lane and The Brighton Bar, and continues to aggressively promote on the cutting edge at some of the same venues today...

Early that evening, Nardini said he was determined to put the soul back into rock n roll.  And he did just that with his presence. As for Bobby Strange, he is determined to do plenty of recording and performing in the near future, so keep an eye for the Strange one.--David J. Gorsky
