coming out which I’m sure they won’t have any trouble selling. The crowd had decided to love this group after hardly 30 seconds in the spotlight. I don’t know if all “girls just wanna have fun”,but this girl definitely did. Everyone else in the band proved that they know how to play their instruments. The up-beat tunes and funky brass section had even the shyest bystander up and moving.

It was tough to fallow a band like Too Short Notice, however, Mr. Sparkle did an excellent job. The stage was crowed with the eight band members in this sweet ska jamboree. Elbows were flying in every which way. If you weren’t dancing, you were getting hit. I don’t know what else to say but that they were some cool cats.

Too Short Notice
Saint - November 2002

Framing OJ was the last to strut their stuff. They played ska with punk under-tones and a kick’n bass. When the lead guitarist’s guitar was stolen, Jeff from Too Short Notice came to the rescue with a loan guitar. The girl from that same band made a cameo appearance on stage with them. This made for an entertaining finish that revealed a little stage romance.

For the most part, I was impressed with the bands, even the amateurs. I don’t have a strong background in punk or ska; I have classic rock tendencies. However, good tunes is good tunes and almost everyone can tell the difference. If you like music as much as I do, your bound to find your niche at all ages shows in this venue.
