The night ended with one last set by Michael Garner. A somewhat “newbie” to entertainment, Michael has been playing open mic
nights for two years now. His obvious influences from classic rock, bluegrass, and folk showed through his covers of songs by Neil Young, The Dead, Simon and Garfunkel, and Cosby Stills Nash Young.
Although he stuck to covers of other songs, Michael aspires to write and perform his own music one day.
Everyone seemed to have a good time, including the performers and the audience. So my musical
and caffeinated night turned out great and if you happen to have a few hours to kill or nothing going on one night you should stop into this cozy
little café. Sunday nights have an open mic night, and
if your lucky you might catch one of these three talented musicians there or catch a glimpse of another new and up-coming performer. I hope to see you there.
