Interview with
The Skanks

don't forget KC who loves ChocoTacos (as does myself) playing that bass of his.

When asked about their inspirations, the guys all answered with: The Bouncing Souls, The Starting Line, Finch, Youth Ahead, Lunch Money Criminals, Blink, Senses Fail, and of course O-town. (Chris "Liquid Dreams," their hit single!)

All in all, Wills (14), Chris (14), KC (15), and Zach (15) all have it down when it comes to playng their instruments. The band first started in December 2003. However, Zach and basest KC, had been in bands together prior to The Skanks. The first band, The Monkey Spankers and following, was African Booty Scratchers. Zach then asked Wills to be the drummer, and then they filled out the band by inviting Chris, who was best friends with Wills, and there you have it. The guys all attend Wall High School, and are going into their sophomore year. Considering these guys are only 14 and 15, and have only recently started, they put on a great stage performance, and play as though they've been doing it for years. They are always looking for more shows, because a show once a month isn't nearly enough. Come out and see them. I am sure that you will enjoy yourself. And if for what ever reason, you do not enjoy these guys on stage, you'll at least be able to hang out with a band of very cool guys, very cool SINGLE guys. The Skanks hope to see you soon!

Jeff Raspy announced to the crowd how lucky we were to be seeing the next performer, Val Emmich, in such a small club…Val, another local talent, has been making great strides in the industry with his emotion-filled, sometimes dark, original songs.  He has a sweet voice that creeks with emotional intensity in his pop-rock lyrics.  There were themes of heartbreak and violent revenge towards irritating co-workers. He was joined by Eric, the drummer of his band, which rumor has it

gives a fantastic live performance.
Ferentino was the last, but not least, of the solo performers.  "If you know any of my past music, you'll be surprised to hear how optimistic I am now," he said and broke into his energetic set. He's a fun performer
