SICA’s One-Five Anniversary
|

continued from page 2 OVER THE TOP--UNDER THE RUG! opening reception was Friday, September 9 and ran until October 8. The show was curated by D. Dominick Lombardi and featured 65 artists, which in and of itself was over the top. Work was selected by Lombardi based on falling into one of two categories; either it was "over the top" or perhaps because it should have been kept "under the rug."
The next exhibit you'd want to see is LUMINOUS RECURRENCE. The opening reception is December 3 from 5:30pm-9:00pm. This is an exhibition of artists who are exploring the repetitive use of light in their art. Curated by Linda Pelaez, the exhibit fetures works by Youngmi Song, Jin Lee, Linda Pelaez, Alan Alejo, Amy Stacie Curtis, Charlie Chul-Hyun Ahn, and Lars Strandhl. Learn about light like you never have before and check www.sica.org for viewing times. continued on page 10
