Jon Caspi Rocks Town

continued from page 7
songs like "Here We Are" from the new CD show an emotionally deep side, others like "This Town" are so infectious the listener is left strolling down the street giddily

chorusing Jon’s words. His lyrics are true. Real. They grab you and say “listen to my heart.”

Jon's second CD is nearing completion. Check out a new song that will appear on the new CD at www.JonCaspi.com or on myspace.com/joncaspi. He’s always learning and changing, but rest assured, you always get some of the same Caspi you know and love at every show.

Indigo Under New Ownership

continued from page 1

Indigo's weekly event schedule is also up for a slight change. Monday's are now going to be dedicated to Seashore artist's, while Tuesdays and Wednesdays are "off days", Thursday will still host the open mic, while Fridays and Saturdays will feature showcased artists. Although the open mic is still hosted on the same day, there are new rules. Sign ups start at seven ...SHARP...
the open mic itself will begin promptly at 7:30, if you are not present when your name is called, you will not play. Call a heads are banned, and signing up someone else is strictly forbidden. With the high demand of Indigo's open mic, these rules have been set in place to
make everything fair for everyone.

Indigo is also open to "shameless self promotion," allowing artists to sell their merchandise not only during performances, but are encouraged to leave CDs and other promotional gear for Indigo to sell, promote, and play for you (at a very small fee). The Indigo will also host house concerts now, allowing artists from all over the world to play there by calling and booking a show. Plans also exist for one Sunday a month to be geared tword featured artists. This will allow musicians and their peers to gather together, and truely appreciate the music. The chairs, and tables will be removed while everybody gathers together on the floor.  Although the Indigo may have new owners, they want everything to still have the same homey and friendly feel.
